25mm Napoleonics in February Andy n Stephen try out In the Grand Manner

more spanish troops moving
cordova's battalion moving along da creek

spanish militia finally moving

spanish light cav milling about recovering from a charge that failed to penetrate the french lines

polish infantry will these troops turn the tide

more french reinforcements

Spanish forces manuever to cut off the only french held road to our french line of communications

french reinforcements arrive? too late to counter the british and spanish attack - check back in two weeks

french still held the town in force before foolishly advancing to slow the british down oops we are outnumbered where are those reinforcements we were promised

french dragoons prepare to mount but did not quite make it

French infantry engage too quickly

Earlier polish lancers forced this battalion into square before the brunswick lancers arrived
British occupy second position half the town is theirs

the french commander watches with concern at his small detachment is quickly overrun

First play attempt with new rules I traded for from NobleKnight games. Andy really likes them,
I am looking forward to more play time with a new set of rules as we take a break from repairs
for a while. French troops occupied a minor town outside their fortress port o de corvo. Only a dragooon regiment, one line battalion the 32nd with attached skirmishers reinforced by a squadron of guard lancers and a company of italian grenadiers with a bavarian heavy artillery battery were available for Colonel Marbot. He was relieved by General divison Rauchebirt
as fresh French forces moved up to counter attack
